Dear Gun Violence: Sincerely, Ernest Owens
What if journalists approached gun violence from a different approach? In this conversation, Maxayn talked with Ernest Owens about this and how it relates to his upcoming project with gun violence prevention activist Tyrique Glasgow as a part of the Credible Messenger Reporting Project. Owens, the Editor-at-Large at Philadelphia Magazine and President of the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists, gives insight on what he would like to see more out of today's journalists when it comes to gun violence reporting.
